Gibson SG Junior White 1965 - PRICE REDUCED
$ 5,595.00
This lightweight SG Junior is a nice player with a loose feel that makes it very responsive to bends leads in particular. It features the faint, wide-grained checking that we see on so many of these guitars, giving it a candy-coated appearance that's very appealing. It also features something that seems typical of many white SG Juniors--a slightly thicker, wider neck. This may be because the white finish is painted on over the already-attached neck and fretboard, adding just a fraction of an extra inch in thickness all the way around, but giving these white SGs a feel substantially different from the cherry version. With some late-period nickel hardware appearing as Gibson converted to chrome, this is a nice, lightweight little guitar that is very comfortable and has some very light, but classic, wear. Summary Body: Mahogany, Polaris White finish. Neck: Mahogany with rosewood fretboard. Round, medium-wide profile. Pickups/Hardware: One bridge P-90 with a thick tone. Nickel hardware and Maestro Vibrola. Setup/Playability: Smooth, responsive player with a loose, responsive tension. Cosmetic Condition: Some check marks on the body and neck. No finish wear to speak of on back of neck. Very light player wear throughout the guitar. Modifications: None. Weight: 6lbs 6oz Case: Original chipboard (missing handle)
